elevator problem, trial no.1


in the elevator with 

zero light: 
you don't know the 

    behavior, or mechanisms 
of the objectbodies 

inside you can only infer it from the kinematics 
                  of the system as a whole / in 


a textbook 
        the free body diagram cuts
        
a cross section of the elevator shaft the

        infinite chasm unbetrayed by / an artist's rendition 
the rope fading   
                  into the glossy shining page 
that kind of judicial blueish you kind of can't   stand 
always associate it with things you hate 


but anyways let's return to 
            angled towards 
                    the silhouette of the box 
                    
-- or ball or person crouching -- 
        it doesn't really matter what, and beside 
        the point 
              (the particle, really more of a hazy suggestion of it)
              
in fear a shadow angled
unrecognizably over their head perhaps 
  a single eye, singular 
                    
                    aperture glinting     -- impossibly, orthogonized or not --     over 
                                                                      one shoulder

i started writing this while thinking about DL-6, but it's only really about AA if you squint :P 
don't examine the physics metaphors too closely; i'm loosely lumping together the classical mech elevator problem with infinite potential wells and the uncertainty principle, but not with any formality
